Gender equality necessitates changes for both men and women. More equal relationships will require a redefining of women's and men's rights and obligations in all sectors of life, including the family, the workplace, and society at large. As a result, it is critical not to dismiss gender as a component of men's social identities. This truth is sometimes neglected since the tendency is to see male qualities and attributes as the norm, and female characteristics and attributes as a deviation of the norm or seen as inferior.
Gender, however, has an equal impact on men's lives as it does on women's. Males' behaviour is shaped by societal standards and perceptions of masculinity. Male Identity is equally prejudiced and stereotyped as that of women. This hinders their opportunity pool, this must be corrected to ensure better lives for all.
