Greek War of Independence

The Greek Revolution, also known as the Greek Struggle of Independence (1821–1829), was a victorious war undertaken by Greeks to gain independence from the Ottoman Empire. The battle for European revolutionary nationalism triggered a movement for independence among the Greeks in 1821.
